Speck-tacular marsh fishing underway. Cooler weather has initiated the migration of speckled trout into the interior coastal lakes and marsh. Now is the time to get into consistent action with the snaggletooths. For flyrodders, the formula to success is simple: poppers or Crease Flies for early or late in the day, or on overcast days, for bigger trout (like the one pictured). Otherwise, school trout will attack Clousers or weighted shrimp patterns, especially if the fly is suspended under a VOSI (flyrodders popping cork).
