It is the intent of the LFF Forums to open lines of communication between fly fishermen everywhere, to discern information, to discuss relevant topics, to spread joy and cheer, and give us an avenue to spend our time when the wind is howling (like it does every weekend). Even lurkers are welcome!
Unfortunately, we must set rules. Can't have posts advocating porn sites, Jihad militantism, or worst of all, cat juggling. So we've established a few rules of the forums:
1. If you have a question regarding a particular subject, use SEARCH first to see if a thread already exists.
2. Consider the appropriate forum for posting.
3. Don't post the same thread to multiple forums!
4. No foul language or obscene photos of fish.
5. Don't reply with an off-topic comment or question. Instead start a new thread.
6. No ALL CAPS MESSAGES or you will be banned (you know, turn the caps lock off before you type anything). The fact that you are the product of Louisiana public education system is no excuse.
7. Don't post your email address to the forums! Spambots grab those addresses and pretty soon you'll have loads of email from Nigerian businessmen, penis enlargement companies, and online psychics.
8. Advertising is restricted to fishing-related items only. Persons selling their personal items is acceptable, as is Louisiana-based organizations or businesses advertising their products, services, sales or upcoming events. All other advertising is prohibited. Exceptions can be granted... contact the Administrator first and state your case.
9. Spam is prohibited. The Administrator reserves his God-given right to determine what is and isn't spam.
