Shop at Wal-Mart, Michael's, Hobby Lobby and the like.
Guru, how about this... list 5 to 10 flies you'd like to tie. I could talk to one of the f/f clubs (or more if they wish to participate) to put together a "care" package together for each of those flies. Just enough to get you started. After which you could keep an open eye for any deals that come along (e.g., Orvis $25 off $50 purchase coupon, Cabelas 30% off tying materials, Mayer 30% off tying materials, etc.) to restock.
You get special treatment because you're "the future" (kinda like those 16" reds I release).
Catch im sorry but i Can't take anything from any of yaou guys i already get enough in the information and friendship. I went to Hobby Lobby and they had quite alot of furs, feather, and ect . They were all great quality and in my budget to (under $20).
Thank you vary mutch ,but it just doesnt feel right.
And wow Hobby Lobby didnt have alot but what they did have was cheap tomorow i'm going to Micheals.
I shop at Hobby Lobby and Michaels all the time. They have a ton of materials there. I like their ostrich and pheasant for feathers, and they have rabbit skins. I buy paints and paint pens there. I buy doll eyes there. There is a lace type product that I use for Cypert Minnows. I buy bead chain at the local hardware store. You can buy a piece used for a light pull, and it will last you a long time. I buy foam at the hobby stores too.
