Topic: Backpacker 2010 Spring Demo Days

Hi Everyone,

Here is a list of dates that we will be holding events each week for the spring.  Please let me know if you have any questions about participation or locations.  This is just a boat demo schedule.  For more events, please visit our event calendar and www.BackpackerLA.com.  Please keep in mind that all dates, locations and times are subject to change.  Please contact the stores to confirm prior to the events.

Saturday March 6th:
            What: Red Stick Fly Fishers Conclave
            Where: LDWF Waddill Refuge
            Backpacker Demo canoes and kayaks on site at the pond

Saturday March 13th:
            What: Backpacker Canoe & Kayak Demo day     
            Where: Sugar Mill Pond, Youngsville , LA
            Time: 10-3pm

Saturday March 20th:
            What: Backpacker Canoe & Kayak Demo Day
            Where: TBA (Either LSU Lakes Baton Rouge or Sugar Mill Pond Youngsville)
            Time: 10-3pm

Saturday March 27th:
            What: Backpacker Canoe & Kayak Demo Day
            Where: LSU Lakes Baton Rouge Beach on Stanford Ave
            Time: 10-3pm

Saturday April 10th:
            What: Backpacker Canoe & Kayak Demo day     
            Where: Sugar Mill Pond, Youngsville , LA
            Time: 10-3pm

Saturday April 24th:
            What: Backpacker Canoe & Kayak SALTWATER Demo Day
            Where: TBA
            Time: 10-3pm

Just received this email from Backpacker.  Apparently it's their annual "pool" weekend Saturday and Sunday. The only thing that confuses me is the "tax free" deal.  Unless I'm mistaken, I think the tax holiday weekend is in August.
