7:00am to 2:00pm

This class is designed for the fly fisherman who wants to be able to read the river, select the proper fly and deliver it with the right presentation.  The entire school will be on-stream at different locations that offer a variety of conditions, such as riffles, runs, pools, holes, pockets, cuts, eddies, inside, outside bends and more.  Approach, casting and fly selection for each condition will be discussed and demonstrated. Each student will have hands-on at casting and wading as well as taking a part in the discussion of where, why and when would fish be found at any location.  Rods, line sizes, and leader configurations will be discussed and the advantages and disadvantages of different set-ups.  Conditions that effect fishing such as seasons, weather, water levels, clarity, temperatures, cloud cover, etc. will be covered.  The intention of the school is to get you beyond the stocking tube and looking for the more elusive holdover fish.

The cost of the 7-hr. class will be $75.   Call Linda at 580-494-6115 to register.  The class will be limited to 5 persons.
