Decided to try my luck with the wind.  I was checking the conditions and noticed a few bass hugging tight to the bulk head.  I thought what the hell let me try to throw with this wind.  went back and got the 3wt. and put on my trusty ole' white popper.  First throw against the bulk head and wham.....small bass.  Threw him back and threw right back to the same spot and a few twitches later and wham another bass, a little larger.  decided to snap a pic with the camera phone.  Threw a few more times and caught 2 more bass and one small perch.  It was a fun 30 minutes but was way to hot.  Called it quits.
