1. The Administrator is God. He or she is judge and jury of all postings and all commandments. His judgements are final!
2. Thou shalt be respective of others at all times. It is possible to disagree without being insulting.
3. Thou shalt not flame. Flaming is any of the following: (a) a response that personally attacks another poster, (b) a response that is not constructive, does not clarify a position, or persuade others, or (c) a series of responses that continue incessantly to belabor a point already made.
4. Thou shalt not troll. Trolling: a new post that is controversial, imflammatory, irrelevant, off-topic, with the specific purpose of inciting or agitating members of an online community.
5. Thou shalt post to the appropriate forum. If the moderator feels a thread belongs in another forum, it will be moved.
6. Thou shalt not post political topics, except where it relates to a specific bill or government action that affects fishing interests.
7. Thou shalt not post sale of goods and services unless it is by a board member or retailer located in Louisiana.
8. Thou shalt not post any of the following: pornography; discriminatory remarks which are sexually explicit, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive; excessive obscene or vulgar language; posts which discuss or illustrate illegal activity; providing links to sites that contain any of the aforementioned.
9. Thou shalt not use profanity.
10. Thou shalt post in English, and avoid the use of ALL CAPITALS.
